Background

Cicade is a company specialized in the field of digital mapping. The company was founded in 1985 in Namur, Belgium (capital of Wallonie region). Due to its unique location linking the territory of France, Germany, the Netherlands and the Luxembourg, makes it ideal for conducting flight missions in these countries.

In due course of time the company has established itself as a specialist in the field of vertical aerial photography and its applications. Today CICADE rely on more than 15 highly specialized team of experts representing pilots, engineers, technicians and commercial who execute and control the entire chain of the production process, right from the aerial photographs to the final products. These operations are fully integrated to reach the highest standards in precision, security and quality.

Mr. Pierre LOUIS a civil engineer, is the founder of the company and also as its General Manager. Being a professional pilot, he is able to manage very carefully each and every aspect of his business activity.

From the beginning of its activity, CICADE has offered its clients a complete range of services in the production of maps. The company offers a complete service from aerial photography to finished orthophoto

With the help of the two twin turbine aircrafts and equipped with the best material on board, Cicade can fly over South of Europe in less than 3 hours and perform aerial photography in all the countries surrounding Mediterranean region.
