Products : Digitalisation and formats

The photogrammetric scanner allows resolutions up to 7 microns or 3600 dpi. The automatic feeding system for the film in the scanner permits an increase in productivity and a reduction in production delays. It is possible during the digitalisation to regulate the radiometry of the exposures in order to maximise the potential information available. In the interests of accuracy and quality control, a systematic inspection of each image is made in order to eliminate any possible anomalies arising from the automation of the process.

The diversity of the formats of the suggested images guarantees compatibility with most high-performance imaging software and many archiving systems. These digital images are available in different media such as CD-rom, DVD-rom, DAT and DLT tapes, and also in paper form.

Apart from the high-definition scanner, Cicade also possesses all the installations specifically required by systems for digital photography, the production of orthophotoplans and their printing.



Our high definition photogrammetric scanner, PHOTOSCAN of Z/I Imaging, allows the digitalisation of the negatives in formats compatible with most of the processing and display software. These images are produced with precision to a very high resolution up to 3600 dpi.

The data is packaged for use in the form of digital files or printed paper.

The digital file products (orthophotoplans, digital images,…) are available in the most up-to-date digital formats and are compatible with the majority of software for processing and display (G.I.S., DAO-CAO).

For the printed paper products, we have a large format plotter for printing our sectional maps and images. These are available as tracings, film, paper or art paper. A1 is the maximum format available.
