Products : Photogrammetry

The pair of images result from a shot taken by a camera installed in a specially fitted plane. A continuous run of exposures is required to obtain two photos of the same zone taken at slightly different angles. This will allow a display in 3-D if the images are viewed simultaneously. A flight plan which precisely follows parallel axes and exact altitude is therefore necessary for an optimum result.

Parallel with the production of pictorial information, we also provide sectional ordnance surveys showing key features such as buildings, roads, utilities, vegetation and water courses. Each plan, composed of layers, is a level and exhaustive presentation of the chosen area and its visual component parts. Stereo plotting allows, by viewing a pair of images in 3-D, the determination of the ground position (X,Y), the height (Z), the surface and the volume of different objects.

This sectored plan forms the necessary base for project feasibility studies. To augment the precision of these plans, complimentary information such as topographic surveys must be added; boundary lines, one-off objects and place names. This depth of information will give a precision to within 10 cm at ground level.
